Description
This 10 ohm (Ω) 25W Load Resistor is designed to ix hyper-flashing and burnt-out bulb indications when replacing standard 21W indicator bulbs (approx. 2 Amp at 12V DC) with LED bulbs.
- One load resistor is required per 21W load.
- Quick wire clips included.
- Aluminium body for heat dissipation.
- Straight positive/negative connection for BA15S, 3156 and 7440 bulbs.
- These resistors can be used on 12V or 24V systems.
INSTALLATIONS NOTES:
- View our installation diagram here.
- Watch this You Tube video for installation instructions
- The resistor must be connected in parallel across the positive and negative wires of the indicator bulb (not in series)
- If buying to stop hyper-flashing in indicators: one resistor per side of the car is suffient, not one per bub (two resistors per car). You do not need 4 resistors for one vehicle
- For BAY15D, 3157 and 7443 brake lights, make sure your positive connection is on the 21W brake circuit and not the 5W tail light circuit.
⚠ IMPORTANT Load resistors generate heat during operation.
- The aluminium body acts as a heat sink and should be mounted to metal surface where posible and kept away from plastic components or wiring insulation.
- These resistors are designed for intermittent circuits such as indicators, not for lights that remain on continuously.
