This 10w 365nM UV headlamp is powered by 2 x 18650 batteries
The headlamp can be aimed straight ahead 0º, to straight down to the ground 90º ~ and anywhere in between. So you don’t have to nod your head to where you want the UV headlamp to illuminate!

We have included a 365 nm blacklight filter in this headlamp; meaning that all non-UV light emitted from the LED gets blocked. That gives a more pure UV light and contributes less glare to what you are viewing – so you can find what you are looking for more easily!

What 365 nm UV headlamp is for
Dog and Cat pee/urine detection at this 365 nm wavelength. Dry urine will show easily on dark surfaces, fresh urine has a bluish look.
If you want maximum effect from “black light” reactive items, 365nm is the proper wavelength for this.
365nm UV flashlights will activate faint traces in fluorescent objects (without the visible purple seen in a 395nm UV flashlight).
Therefore 365nm is more suited to close-up work and faint detection.
365nm wavelength LED produces a near pure UV output which is the optimum frequency for UV fluorescence.
You will see far more detail and in a greater range of colours in gemstones than any other wavelength.
365nM UV generate less unwanted “Interference Light” and they may naturally appear weaker or more white compared to the visible purple 395nM version.
This can be misleading and should not be misinterpreted.
General rule of thumb is that the more visible UV light you see the less effective it will be for detailed, faint detection work.
This is how UV (Blacklight) wavelengths usually work:

365 nm Black Light Filter
Not only does this UV emitting LED specifically put out light in the 365 nm UV Spectrum (which is UVA) but included is a Black Light Filter, which blocks out undesirable ‘light noise’ in addition; so you are getting less glare from light that isn’t working for you.
This means higher contrast between the fluorescing object and the surrounding objects, making things easier to detect.

⚠️ UV Radiation Safety Notice
UV flashlights emit ultraviolet radiation (UVR) and must be used with care. UV radiation can be harmful to eyes and skin, even when the light appears dim or is only visible as a faint purple/blue glow.
Never look directly into any UV LED; or allow UV light beams to reflect directly toward your eyes; or shine UV light directly onto your skin; and never shine UV flashlights at people, animals, eyes, skin or reflective surfaces.
Always use protective eyewear suited to the specific wavelength you are using (AS/NZS 1337.1) (see UV Light Protective Eyewear section below). Keep out of reach of children.
⚠️ UV Protective Eyewear
Ordinary glasses (sunglasses, prescription glasses, reading glasses, or fashion eyewear) and even protective eyewear should not be relied on unless they are confirmed as suitable safety eyewear for the relevant UV wavelength.
Different UV wavelengths carry different levels of risk.
🛑🛑 365 nm UV-A Product Safety Information
365 nm UV-A is ultraviolet radiation and can be harmful to eyes and skin, especially at close range or with prolonged or repeated exposure.
For close-range, extended, or repeated use, wear safety eyewear compliant with AS/NZS 1337.1 and marked or specified as providing UV400 protection.
Do not look directly into the UV LED or beam. Do not shine at people, animals, eyes, skin, or reflective surfaces.
Do not rely on ordinary glasses (sunglasses, prescription glasses, reading glasses, or fashion eyewear) unless they are confirmed as suitable safety eyewear for 365 nm UV-A exposure.
