Description
This BAY15D LED RED Brake/Tail bulb with front lens has superior protection against voltage (and current) surges up to 30vDC. It can be used in 12V and 24V applications.
Double Acting:
Headlights off – Brake application triggers full power.
Headlights on – Tail light mode uses 33% power and goes to full power when the brake pedal is pressed.
This is a non-Canbus bulb.
The bulb pulls 10w and this is sufficient for most bulb out warning systems.
Globe Base – BAY15D (1157) RED with staggered (in height) side locating pins
Dual contact connection – 2 positives on base (tail/brake) with negative side wall function.
Tail light mode – 33%
Brake light mode – 100%
