Many modern motorcycles including selected Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Indian, Kawasaki, KTM, Triumph and Yamaha models not only have ultra-low-profile indicator lenses, but also use shallower bulb sockets.
Unlike many standard LED indicator bulbs, which are either too long overall or have a base section that protrudes too far into shallow sockets, this version of our BA15S (1156) Amber 12–24V CANBUS LED Indicator Bulb has been specifically designed to solve this problem for motorcycles and other vehicles requiring a compact indicator bulb.
It features both a shorter base and a shorter LED body, allowing it to fit beneath low-profile lenses while still seating correctly in the socket.
This LED bulb features high-output 5730 SMD LEDs with a lens design for improved light distribution and visibility.

LED Indicator Compatibility Information
Some vehicles use bulb-out warning systems or traditional flasher relays that rely on the electrical load of a standard incandescent globe (typically 21W at 12V).
When upgrading to LED indicator bulbs, this lower power draw can sometimes cause:
- hyper flashing
- bulb warning messages
- incorrect flash operation
These issues can usually be resolved using:
- 12v LED electronic flasher relays
- 2 Pin (SKU 0710)
- 3 Pin Flasher (SKU 0711)
- or load resistors
- 10ohm 25w for 21w loads (SKU 0500)
- 50W 6ohm for 21w loads (suits Canbus sensitive systems) (SKU 0501)
